Roses
Roses
I cry roses
The petals slowly falling from my cheeks
White tears of loneliness
Petals, bruised and cut
Scars of emotion
I bleed roses, too
They seep from my wrists,
My mouth
Crimson petals pouring from every orifice
Graceful in their tragedy
I’m full of flowers
I want to let them out
But I will waste them if I do
Then you come along
You pick up all my petals
You weave them through my hair
And say, “Give me your flowers”
“I will make beautiful things out of your sadness”
“I will make you happy”
Now, the roses bloom in full
They heal my scars
They dry my tears
Beautiful buds flourishing from e
Think of me
Think of my eyes
Think of my hands running through your hair
Think of my song resonating in your ears
Think of the sensations of our lips pressed together
Think of our fingers intertwined
Think of my body pressing against yours, my hot breath against your neck
Think of my love, your love
Think of our spirits together as one
Think of me always.
Don’t forget me.

Goldy
I had a pet fish named Goldy
He was my favourite pet
We had so many good times together
Until the day I accidentally dropped some ramen in his bowl
He ate it without a care in the world
He didn't know he wasn't supposed to
He died
When I went to visit him the next day
I began to tear up when I saw his body floating atop the water
Our family and those guys who also knew and loved Goldy
All gathered around the bathroom where we held Goldy's funeral
Goldy, now at peace, was in a plastic bag
I was honored with the responsibility to hold him in our last moments together
We prayed to the fishy gods to make sure they would let hi
Open your eyes.
Don't think.
Just watch.
A breeze picks up.
You hug yourself tight.
The trees sway.
Leaves break free from their grip.
Swirling gracefully through the air.
Eventually floating to the ground in sweet surrender.
Your sight loses focus.
The scene becoming a no longer detailed blur of colours.
A harmonious blend of red, orange, and yellow.
The air is crisp.
The scent of spice lingers.
You can hint the crackling of fire in the distance.
It's that feeling.
Happiness.
You bask in the moment.
Autumn has arrived.
Blood
Dripping
Flowing
Blood
Why?
Why is there blood?
You didn't choose this
It's not a choice
What don't they understand
About this pain you have to deal with
The blood
It flows continuously
Not stopping for anyone
No matter how much you cry
Thinking about this pain
Just makes you shudder in anxiety and fear every time
You just want it to stop
But it's something you just have to endure
All just because of the body you were born with
Every month

"Who're you?" Matthew's eyes snapped open when he heard a voice. He looked straight ahead to see his pet polar bear nosing him in the cheek. He seemed un-phased when his pet, that he took care of everyday, didn't know who he was.
"I'm your caretaker, Matthew." He answered quietly. He was used to this by now.
Everyday, Matthew would go through life never being noticed by anybody. People would even bump into him like he wasn't even there. He was convinced that he must be invisible.
There was a meeting at his job today, and everyone was fussing around, while he just sat and watched the chaos. Alfred was bugging Arthur about his heroism while
